Inspired Inspirers

Author: Heather

“Inspiration is state of mind, in my opinion. I mean you cannot assume what, when or where will attract you and obviously how it will impact your life and artwork. I feel like inspiration comes from your good mood, or private happiness. In simple words, you should watch, listen and keep your mind open for everything, enjoy your life… And be happy as much and as often as possible. I am not saying I am happy all the time, it’s impossible, but I’m following positive affection to being inspired.”
-Maciej Hajnrich

That’s just a taste. Go get inspired.

2008 Fall fashion colors to ponder

Author: Heather

Fall is here, or at least it feels like it anyway. One of the greatest things about fall is busting out the fall sweaters and long sleeve shirts. Definitely something to be excited about. I?ve noticed that this year there is a little change in color trends. Traditionally we see a lot of subdued, quiet colors, but this season things are bolding up a bit. Deep blues and of course lots of purples, autumn colors pulled from nature are also among us this fall. You?ll see plenty of deep grays, brown variations, and reds. But what?s really hot hot hot is BURNT ORANGE and her sister mustard. Gotta love it!!

This is the pantones 2008 fall fashion color palette. All these colors mixed together can be a bit much on the eyes, but to freshen things up why not pick one or two for inspiration and build a palette off of that.
