id?e is at it again with Multicolr Search Lab: Flickr Search

These guys continue to impress! The id?e: Multicolr Search Lab allows you to select up to 10 colors from a palette they provide you and it actually searched Flickr public photos for pics with those matching hex colors. Crazy. Nice find, Michael Johnson!

I always enjoy looking at great typography, and seeing how other designers treat their type. Whether it be print, web, signage, what have you.
For a while now, I’ve been building a small collection of typography resources in my delicious. I’ve found these to come in pretty handy when searching for design/type inspiration or just plain visual stimulus. Thought I would share some of my favorites and open the comments up for a show-and-tell of typography goodness.

Not sure if any of you have checked this out yet or not, but it’s a handy little resource. Complete with tutorials and reference material on all sorts of JavaScript, Flash, PHP, such as loading Flickr images into flash, Creating maps from Yahoo! Maps to name a few. Anyway, added it to our General Resource Category under links.
Plumage: Fine Flickr Feathers
This is pretty cool. Created by one of the speakers from the Flash Belt conference Shelton and I went to last Summer. This might be one of the smartist algorithms I’ve seen. Enter a tag, and it will randomly pull images from Flickr and create a feather from the color scheme. Brilliant.
